Its fun for the whole family, we take children as young as 4 years but we do ask for a parent or gaurdian to be with them. This is a ride for all ages! Are the rides fast? Every ride is different and custom made for you! If you want to go faster or slower just let our captains know, as long as there aren't any small children aboard and water conditions are good, we will make sure you have a blast! What happens if I fall off? No worries! Getting wet is just part of the fun, but if you do fall off, our captains will quickly get you back on the babana so you can start having fun again. How long is the Banana Boat Ride? Each ride lasts a minimum of 45 minutes, many times it lasts 1 hour. Our captains love what they do and if you are having fun so will he! If you want to see the famous Cabbage Key or maybe the scenic fish houses just let your skipper know! Where do I board the Banana Boat Ride? We are located on North Captiva and our shop, Bobs Island Adventures is located directly behind Barnacle Phils Restaurant. Our Banana Boat rides are safe and are always captained by a USCG Captain. Escape the heat on our tow along, 6 passenger banana boat ride. The ride is similar to white water rafting on the ocean. Wear your swimsuits because you will get wet! This ride is a great way for the whole family to participate in the fun.

One of the all-time favorite beach activities on North Captiva is the Banana Boat Ride. Get pulled along behind one of our captained boats at excitingly fast speeds (or slow if you request) as our special double banana boats create even more excitement than any other banana boat ride in SW Florida! Try to hang on as your captain does his best to flip your banana and get you wet. It's a classic battle to see who will emerge victorious! Can you hang on? What a way for the whole family to spend an afternoon with Bob's Island Adventures! The Banana Boat ride is definitely the activity you don't want to miss out on. Jump on our six person inflatable boat and have more fun than you ever imagined. You will ride out from the docks on our custom bananan boat skippered by our US Coast Guard Captain will tow you through the marina out to Captiva Pass and around Cayo Costa where you will hang on and try desperately not to fall off. If you do its not a problem as all riders are provided with USCG life jackets and the boat captain will immediately pick you up and continue on this incredible ride. A must for all families and fun lovers.

You will get wet on this tour, and you very well may fall off the banana during the course of this activity (it's part of the fun). We don't recommend this tour for anyone with severe back or neck problems, pregnant women, the elderly, or a previous severe injury, as you will be speeding across the water, and possibly falling off at high speed.
